He revealed his post jazz and post classical ambitions with the five movement orchestra suite Children of the Fire in 1974, marking the birth of his Sunrise Orchestra. In July 1975, Hannibal was released, featuring Michael Cochrane on piano, Diedre Murray on cello, bass, and two percussionists.
