Waiheke Whisky - Cantankerous Full Body This batch of only 612A limited edition release of double distilled, non peated single malt which has spent time maturing in three cask types. The virgin American oak lends vanilla, caramel and light spice. The refill bourbon layers on top some corn sweetness and mellows out the virgin oak character. The finish in Muscat gives the icing on the cake. Nuttiness, ripe red fruits, and brown sugar come through on the palate and on the finish. A decadent and moreish whisky.
